Asuka Elias
Clarinet
About
Hi! My name is Asuka Elias.
I was born and raised in Japan. I came to NY to study music and graduated The Juilliard School in 2010. I am freelancing throughout NYC while teaching piano and clarinet, as well as arranging music for chamber ensemble.
I have a duo called Clara Duo, together with my best friend and amazing pianist, Aleksandra Kocheva. We have been playing together for more than 12 years. We have played at many places including in Japan. Also we play many genres including standard repertoire like Brahms and Debussy, but we are very much dedicated to contemporary music as well. If you have any requests, such as theme from the movie to a pop song, I will be happy to arrange and perform it.
Besides playing music, I love to cook, play with my two beautiful children and study Spanish and French.
