About

Quartet Fiore is composed of four friends hailing from Vienna, Austria, the Bay Area, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rochester, NY, all of whom are happy to call DC home this season. The quartet has its roots in the chamber music program at Georgetown University.

During the day you can find quartet members finishing up a business degree at Georgetown, producing segments for German television news, and helping run the DC Youth Orchestra Program. During evenings, you can often find quartet members rehearsing at Georgetown (where they also enjoy enthusing about the local fast casual dining establishments).

Quartet members enjoy musical life in DC through full-time work at a community music education program; frequenting area musical institutions such as the Kennedy Center; and performing throughout DC in groups including the Pan American Symphony, the Georgetown University Symphony, and DC Concert Orchestra.
