A Swiss citizen born in Japan, I moved to New York City in January 2011.
At age 5 I started taking piano lessons and quickly began developing a great passion for the instrument, and classical music. In the following years I studied with professors Patricia Pagny and Galina Vracheva in Switzerland, David Lively at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, Benjamin Kaplan in London, and Jerome Rose at Mannes College of Music in New York City.
My career has allowed me to perform as a soloist with orchestras worldwide such as the Zurich Chamber Orchestra and the Orchestra Musikkollegium Winterthur in Switzerland, the Hofer Symphoniker in Germany, the State Hermitage Orchestra in St. Petersburg, Russia, and the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan, as well as solo recitals and chamber music. I have recorded four albums and appeared on several international radio broadcasts.
In summer 2013 I joined video game music tribute band Critical Hit (www.crithitband.com), and have since with them recorded one album and played at conventions nationwide, such as Comic Con and BlizzCon.
In 2012, I produced the audiovisual project “Envisage” as a way to combine modern video and lighting elements with classical music. The public world premiere of “Envisage” took place in December 2013 in Switzerland.
