About

Hello! I'm a Philadelphia-born trumpeter residing in Chicago. I studied classical trumpet at Northwestern University. Upon graduating, I taught lessons, freelanced, and worked at a bar until I was offered a spot on the An American in Paris Broadway national tour.

I toured with AAIP for twenty months, performing in over fifty cities throughout the US. It was an incredible experience in terms of travel and musical fulfillment. Since then I've moved back to Chicago (I'm very happy to have a home again!) and have continued to teach, perform with local orchestras and theatrical productions, and sub nationally.

Music

I play all kinds of music, from symphonic to commercial to jazz repertoire, but performing for groupmuse gives me an opportunity to play chamber music and other pieces that may not have been originally conceived for the trumpet. I love drawing from the Lied repertoire, the most palatable trumpet solo compositions, and original works.
