Hi, everyone. I was born into a family that ran a music school in South Korea, so I started playing the violin at the age of two-and-a-half. It was a social thing for me - to be able to play with my mother’s students. Since then, my parents immigrated to the States for my education, and I eventually went through Juilliard, Carnegie Hall’s Academy, and Marlboro. Now, I’m based in NYC and spend my time traveling and performing lots of chamber music. I also founded my own chamber music festival in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio called VIVO Music Festival.
