About

Zion Lee is a violinist from Ames, Iowa, currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. She studies Gerardo Ribeiro, and still closely works with Ivan Ženatý and Jinjoo Cho, with whom she studied with during her time at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Zion is currently part of the Asbury Quartet, a string quartet founded in Evanston. Having been in a quartet constantly for the past 5 years, Zion has performed gigs ranging from weddings, corporate gala events, and presentations for children in venues such as the Chicago History Museum, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Severance Hall, local libraries and coffee shops, and in the comfort of open homes with people who love music.

Along with performing, she has a passion for administrative work behind music schools and festivals, teaching, and simply taking long walks and exploring local coffee shops with friends.
