About
Tzu-Wei Huang recently had his concerto debut with the Jenaer Philharmonie at Neue Weimarhalle, Germany. Mr. Huang is a Taiwanese cellist performing throughout the United States and countries range from Asia to Europe. During this past summer, he participated in renowned music festivals including the Bowdoin International Music Festival, 59th Weimar Master Classes and the International Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
He actively performs in multiple ensembles and studies closely with notable musicians such as David Geber, Julia Lichten and Sylvia Rosenberg. His piano quintet and the Andersen Trio, both founded with his fellow schoolmates, are the winners of the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition and were invited to play in masterclasses given by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. As a recipient of the President’s Award scholarship, Mr. Huang is currently studying with Philippe Muller in pursue of Bachelor of Music at Manhattan School of Music.
