Joe Miller
Classical Guitar
About
Joe Miller's interest in guitar began when he was given a hand-me-down nylon string instrument abandoned by his younger brother. This guitar was slowly taken over by Joe and eventually led to his pursuit of classical study and sharing of music wherever he goes. Growing up Joe lived on four different continents, influencing the type of music he plays. The repertoire here includes music from diverse global locations and eras of human creativity, presenting them side by side.
Joe graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2013 where he was a student of Joseph Peccoraro. In addition to his studies with Mr. Peccoraro, Joe has participated in lessons and master classes with Victor Villadangos, Matt Palmer, Eduardo Fernandez and various other artists.
Currently Joe lives in Bellingham where he performs around the west coast and teaches private classical lessons.
