About
I have a heart for performing in unconventional performance spaces such as homes and out of doors. These concerts foster a personal connection between the music and audience that is difficult to replicate in a public concert setting. I have been performing private house concerts since 2001 and I believe that the experience that Groupmuse affords the listener will enable classical music to have a future. I'm thrilled to be a part of this growing movement!
I'm a classically trained violinist (BM, MM, DMA) and enjoy playing the traditional masterworks, especially Brahms and Beethoven. I also am a champion of music by two American composers, Emma Lou Diemer and William Bolcom. I have recorded both composers' complete works for violin and piano. However, smaller pieces by Kreisler, Dvorak and other gems also hold a special place in my heart and I believe are best experienced in the smaller venues that Groupmuses provide. I look forward to sharing my musical gifts in your next Groupmuse!
