Piano Duo - One piano, four hands!
About
“….Wu and Papernik are an uncommonly attractive and entertaining pair. Their introductions to each piece were handled beautifully. They managed a comfortable balance of the formal and the casual, and the large audience that lined up early to fill the hall loved it all. “
The Washington Post Review – Joan Reinthaler
From start to finish, the Papernik + Wu Piano Duo (one piano/four hands) concert is an aural and visual tour de force performing the classics, from Mozart's 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’ and Bizet's opera 'Carmen' to tangos, Slavic dances, romantic music and a medley of Broadway songs from West Side Story. Performing numerous concerts along the east coast, the Papernik + Wu Piano Duo is an entertaining and much sought –after musical tag team from New York City that seamlessly slips between solos and duets throughout the concert while telling lively stories and humorous anecdotes about the music, the composers, and the times they lived in. Papernik + Wu celebrate their first year of collaboration with Four Hand Band, their first album together.
