We're a string quartet with a historical twist: we perform on instruments set-up as they were back in the Classical and early Romantic era (gut strings instead of metal + lighter bows = more intimate, resonant sound). House concerts are the perfect setting for our ensemble! We play the early string quartet masterpieces (Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn!) as well as some of the many beautiful hidden gems from that period.

We formed our bonds of (musical) friendship at the Oberlin Conservatory and Juilliard, and we live for playing chamber music and interacting with our audiences!
