Nelson - violin, Cheryl - cello, and Kristia - piano, recently formed as a trio in Toronto. Though they all come from classical performing backgrounds, they initially forged musical relationships with each other through the medium of free improvisation. They are excited to now expand their work together into classical repertoire whilst still leaving space for their unique musical interpretations.

Nelson and Cheyl also work together in a String Quartet, and Nelson and Kristian are a new music duo with an upcoming residency at the Banff Centre in winter 2018. Nelson attended the New England Conservatory of Music for classical violin, Cheryl has studied cello performance at the Glenn Gould School as well as Humber College, and Kristian attended the University of Toronto, studying jazz piano.
