About

Violinist Melissa Bull & Scott Lesser met in grad school, where during a miserable piano trio assignment (turns out the pianist has to practice the music!) we began playing duos together to salvage the semester. Since then, we have presented several duo recitals, including appearances at Indian Hill Music's Bach Lunch concerts and on the King's Chapel Tuesday at noon concert series, and have played for a variety of special events together. Melissa & Scott play together in Boston-area regional orchestras including Cape Ann Symphony where we both are string principals. We are also section players in the Orchestra of Indian Hill where we occasionally play as acting concertmaster and acting principal cello.

In the summer of 2014, together we founded North Shore Chamber Music (NSCM). We presented a successful season of a variety of chamber ensembles including violin and cello. We are seeking opportunities to preview or repeat these performances in hopes of maximizing the preparations! We would be delighted and honored to join you at your venue with your choice of ensemble! We currently can offer violin/cello duo, string quartet, piano trio, string sextet, or cello quintet.
