Baroque Violin Duos
About
Violinists Danny Seidenberg and Daryl Silberman present an enjoyable evening of 18th century violin duos for you! The beautiful duos we play were written mainly between 1700 and 1800 by composers including Haydn, Viotti, Cambini, Vanhal, LeClaire and more presented on early violins with baroque and transitional bows. There is a treasure trove of amazing violin duos written by the composers of the day, often to be played by themselves, with friends - most often more rich and rewarding than music written ensembles twice as a large.
Music
Telemann Canonic Sonatas, 6 Sonatas (written originally for 2 Flutes)
Leclair Violin Duos, Op. 6 and Op. 12
Haydn Violin Duos, Op. 99

Vanhal Violin Duos, Op. 17 and Op. 56
Cambini Violin Duos, Op. 4 and Op. 5
And, as an extra bonus, sometimes we play romantic or contemporary Duos, including:
Bartok
DeBeriot
And we can even play some jazz duos
