Liaison
Baroque Vocal-Instrumental Ensemble
About
The members of Liaison are all active in the early-music community as soloists, orchestral musicians, and/or teachers. Liaison’s group name was inspired by the members’ pursuit of a collaborative, cooperative approach to ensemble music-making as well the importance of the relationship between performer and audience.
Specializing in classical repertoire of the 17th- and 18th-centuries, Liaison brings youthful flair to historical performance as well as a reinvention of modern jazz and pop using baroque instruments such as the harpsichord and viola da gamba. Liaison is also available to perform as an instrumental ensemble (without voice).
