Neo Camerata
String Quartet / Piano Quintet
About
Neo Camerata Combines the emotion and beauty of classical music on classical instruments, yet with the excitement and high energy of pop music, and riveting compositions of Mark Landson. The unique idea of Neo Camerata is bringing the classical medium in a highly accessible arrangement of exciting music in a social venue. From 2003 to 2007, Neo Camerata put out a nationally released original album of Landson's new classical music and also collaborated on Rejane Maglories album on EMI "The Forbidden Opera". In those years, critics called Neo Camerata a "genre busting", "technically impressive", "emotionally stirring", and "totally cool and amazing" experience. Neo Camerata toured both small rock club venues and played in large concert halls with orchestra, played at the Kennedy Center in DC, the Cannes Film Festival, Elton John's Life Ball, and played shows with Bobby McFerrin and the Five Browns.
