About

Abigail Gower is a passionate collaborative pianist who looks to combine her love of music, the desire to spread the beauty and complexity of the art, and her deep care for humanity and the Earth. Whether it be playing a concert for a group of educated musicians, or a group of high schoolers, she aims to start each performance with interesting facts, situational happenings around the time of composition, and how the composer may have felt while writing a piece, in order to help any audience have a more deep and meaningful experience. In addition to this, in order to fulfill her second passion, Abigail is determined to have as many of her performances as possible be events that will raise money for various charities that can help human and environmental crises in the world. The most recent of these was an orchestral concert in which in one night, she premiered a programmatic concerto and simultaneously raised $800 for Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
