Hi there!

My name is Nicholas Tisherman, and I currently hold the position of 2nd/Assistant Principal Oboe with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. I have toured throughout Europe and played everywhere from the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn, Estonia, to Carnegie Hall in New York, to Denver's own Red Rocks Amphitheater. During the time I was completing my Bachelor's at the New England Conservatory of Music from 2012-2016, Groupmuse was getting its start in Boston.

Equally important as upholding my highest artistic standard is engaging my community. Throughout my career, I have committed myself to organizations which present social and accessible concert experiences like Groupmuse, Phoenix Orchestra in Boston, and the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra in Los Angeles. In Denver, I am the musician representative on the board of REMIX: Young Professionals of the Colorado Symphony.
