Christian Pincock is a trombonist, composer and educator who performs and creates within a wide range of music. Coming from a background of studying jazz and classical music at Manhattan School of Music and New England Conservatory, he has played concerts on slide and valve trombones and has led educational workshops for roughly two decades in Seattle, New York, Boston, Albuquerque and on tour across the United States solo and with various ensembles. Christian works with a rich variety of musical styles and methods including conducted improvisation, jazz and free improvisation, salsa and other latin styles, multidisciplinary performance, performance art and big band jazz.
