Duo Odéon
Violin-Piano Duo
About
Violinist Hannah Leland and pianist Aimee Fincher formed Duo Odéon as doctoral students at Arizona State University. For the last few years they have researched, performed, and recorded the music of the American composer George Antheil. The name Duo Odéon comes from Antheil's time in Paris in the 1920s living above Sylvia Beach's bookshop Shakespeare & Co.
Hannah and Aimee love the music of the early twentieth century and enjoy performing in unconventional venues. They are especially fond of connecting with their audiences by introducing them to underperformed composers and music.
