About

Played chamber music at University of Michigan and Columbia University, at the Aspen Festival and accompanied singers in Jan De Gaetani's classes there and at SUNY Purchase.

Was part of a composer's collective in NYC. NY Times review: "The most exciting moments of the evening came with Donald Sosin's 'Yes, Indeed!', an ebulliently eclectic combination of jazz, minimalism and high spirits." - Tim Page, New York Times

I have played a great deal of chamber music: violin, flute, cello sonatas, and worked with mixed ensembles of varied kinds.

Married to singer/actress Joanna Seaton, who has sung songs of Shakespeare, and a wide variety of songs from the Renaissance to the present.

Worked with dozens of singers all across the country at festivals, studios, and in concert. Opera, lieder, and theater music.

Many years as a theater conductor/arranger/musician. Conducted and arranged music of Marc Blitzstein for a retrospective at St. Bart's on Park Avenue, the US premiere of Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT at Equity Library Theater, and many other shows.

Composer of assorted chamber music for all types of ensembles: woodwind trio, string quartet, woodwind/brass octet, some with silent film.
