About

Mezzo soprano Katherine Doe is an active performer and teacher based in New York City. This past season season she performed as Mercedes in Bizet's Carmen with Regina Opera (cover performance), the Secretary in Menotti's The Consul with Encompass Opera, Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte with the Queens College Opera Ensemble, Arcane in Handel’s Teseo with the Cantanti Project, Sesto and Annio in Mozart's La clemenza di Tito with New York Opera Forum, and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with Sandbox Opera. Later this season she performs the alto solos in her first Stabat Mater by Pergolesi, and will perform as Diana in Thespis and Phoebe in Yeomen of the Guard (cover cast), both with Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company.

I typically perform with piano, but can also provide a nice sounding electric keyboard.
