About
Hello! I am a classical pianist currently residing in Arlington, VA. I received my degrees from The Juilliard School, Northwestern University, and University of Michigan. I am close to finishing my double doctorate from the Eastman School of Music, while keeping an active performing schedule. I particularly enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and friends to present carefully curated concert programs that combine solo pieces, chamber music, as well as art songs.
Music
I am equally at home playing works by "old" masters (Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Ravel, etc.), as well as those by modern and contemporary composers (Messiaen, Boulez, Chin, Wubbels, etc.)
I prefer programming around a strong narrative (a "theme" if you will); for me, telling a story through music is the best way to connect with the audience. I think it is important to present composers from a variety of diverse identities and backgrounds, to discover and explore the incredible spectrum music has to offer.
