About

James MacQueen is a recent graduate of University of Denver's Lamont School of Music where he earned his master's degree in violin performance and is continuing his violin studies with Aubrey Murphy. He is an active performer and violin teacher in the Cleveland Area. He enjoys performing a wide variety of styles from baroque to contemporary, Scottish fiddling, and more.

James is also an active composer and frequently premieres his own works. He is currently working on the Wednesday Love song cycle for soprano and violin, a new sonata for violin and piano, and a work for symphonic wind ensemble.
