About
Hailed “piano prodigy” by The Seattle Times and acclaimed for “immense and electric (performance)” by The Boston Music Intelligencer, Peter Fang is a pianist who relishes embracing the diverse masterpieces of the repertoire. Peter is a first prize winner at The 2012 Steinway Piano Competition and a recipient of the Chi Mei Art Award.
As a passionate chamber musician, Mr. Fang has collaborated and performed with violinists Itzhak Perlman, Nicholas Kitchen, Lev Klychkov, and others.
Mr. Fang earned degrees from New England Conservatory, The Juilliard School, and Yale University. He is a current candidate for a Doctoral of Musical Arts at the University of Southern California. In addition to piano performing, Mr. Fang has taught piano at Yale University, music schools in California, and his private piano studio. His recent role as a music lecturer has made remarkable concert appearances in LA, Boston, New York, and Taipei.
