About

Dimitri Vychko was born in Moldova, a former Republic of the USSR. He has pursued an active career in performance, playing both as a soloist, and as a member of many orchestral and chamber ensembles in Europe, Asia, and North America. His travels have taken him to, among other places, Barcelona, Istanbul, Geneva, Nice, Milan, Rome, and Seoul.
Dimitri has several recordings of modern and classical repertoire, including in this discography a recording of the Beethoven Triple Concerto, and the Haydn D Major Concerto. Currently, he serves as a cellist with the Louisiana Philharmonic.
