About
Since beginning my studies in music, I've been fortunate to have won 9 prizes in international competitions and have had the opportunity to perform throughout the US, Europe, and Africa. My formal education inlcudes the Schwob School of Music (Bachelor's), the University of Louisville (Master's), and current studies at the Shenandoah Conservatory (Doctorate).
In 2014 I released my debut album, "Sketches", which includes music by JS Bach, Richard Rodney Bennett, Luigi Legnani, SL Weiss, and myself. My repertoire spans the gamut of music history and cutlure from Renaissance to Contemporary and includes arrangements of popular tunes and traditional African music. While my love of solo repertoire is great, I am also a passionate chamber musicician with experience in duos with guitar, violin, flute, saxophone, and harp and guitar quartet. My newest project is the creation and development of the Ghana National Music Festival, Ghana's first classical music festival and the first major collboration between Ghana and the US in this field.
