Music
In addition to standard major violin repertoire from Early baroque to contemporary, from Biber to Glass, I like presenting my own unique concert programs with a special interest in previously undiscovered master pieces for violin. Please contact me if you have any specific requests or questions. Thank you.

2. Rediscovered treasures: Works for Violin and Piano of Theodore Akimenko (1876-1945)
Always passionate about finding new and unknown repertoire for violin, Tatiana Chulochnikova discovered the legacy of Theodore Akimenko. This nineteenth-century composer until now had only one claim to fame: he was Stravinsky’s first teacher. In collaboration with pianist Anastasia Dedik, the album “Theodore Akimenko: Works for Violin and Piano” was recorded and produced in New York City in the fall 2015, making the first existing recorded collection of works by the composer. Released on the London based label Toccata Classics, the album has already been noted and favorably reviewed. As noted in the recent review of the album music is “played with fullest commitment, romantic fervour and heart”. Tonight’s recital at the Museum of the Russian Art makes a North-American premiere of select works for violin and piano by Theodore Akimenko.
