About
Rob Adler is a NYC based classical guitarist, composer and arranger. He has performed all across New York, some past performances include solo and chamber recitals at Manhattan’s National Opera Center, performances at the SUNY-Purchase Guitarathon, and he has performed with the New York City based One World Symphony as a featured soloist and as principal guitarist since 2014. He received a Masters in Classical Guitar Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and his Bachelor of Music with emphasis in Recording Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. While in Wisconsin he performed with the Oshkosh Water City Chamber Orchestra as Principal Guitarist.
In addition to performing, Rob loves to teach, compose, arrange, engrave and record music. Several of Rob’s arrangements and transcriptions have been published by Make Music, Inc., the world leader in music engraving software. His arrangement of Carlos de Seixas’ Fugue in A minor was selected as a finalist for the 2014 Seconda Prattica International Arrangement Competition for Classical Guitar.
