About
Pianist Jillian Kim is a native of San Francisco. She is no stranger to the local competitions, such as the San Francisco Chopin Competition and the Pacific Musical Society. In 2011, she won a scholarship from the Chopin Foundation of the United States Scholarship Program for Young Pianists. Jillian attended the Zephyr International Chamber Music Festival in Courmayeur, Italy, for multiple years. There, she performed under the tutelage of coaches such as Bonnie Hampton and Mark Rudoff. Jillian recently received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Mack McCray and Paul Hersh. She teaches piano at the Inspire Music Center. Jillian will be starting her Master of Music Degree at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music this fall.
