Praised for her “pure and lovely tone” (Boston Musical Intelligencer), mezzo-soprano Julia Cavallaro has appeared in concert and stage productions with Boston’s premier ensembles, including the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and Boston Early Music Festival. Solo engagements for the 2016–2017 season include Handel’s Messiah with the New England Classical Singers, Bach’s Mass in B minor with the choirs of Trinity Church, and Mozart’s Requiem with the Jameson Singers. Ms. Cavallaro will also appear in new productions of Schumann’s Frauenliebe und -leben and Conrad Susa’s The Dangerous Liaisons with the Boston Opera Collaborative.
