Annabeth Shirley
Cello, Baroque Cello
About
Annabeth studied cello performance and neuroscience at University of Michigan, and then ventured off to Europe to pursue historical performance. After three years of study in The Hague, Netherlands, she is completely enthralled with the HIP movement. She has played everything from Schutz to Mahler on gut strings, in historically-informed performance practice, in groups including the Nederlands Kamerkoor, the Netherlands Bach Society, and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
