About
Jonathon Hampton performs sacred and secular music as an alto, tenor, and baritone. In the Bay, he has performed with the likes of Schola Adventus, Grace Cathedral, Marin Baroque, Schola Cantorum San Francisco, Pacific Collegium, the Cathedral Church of Christ the Light, and as a soloist for Pacific Boychoir with which he is now Associate Director. Hampton has been soloist with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, California Symphony, and Orchestra of St. Luke's. In New York, he has performed with Big Apple Baroque, Conflitti di Voci, Early Music New York, and Experiments in Opera. Hampton has also sung with the choirs of St. Thomas Fifth Avenue, Trinity Wall Street, St. John the Divine, St. Mary the Virgin-Times Square, Church of the Ressurrection, and Marble Collegiate, among others. He also developed a new program as Director of Choristers at Grace Church in Newark, NJ for three years.
Hampton has recorded two albums and toured internationally as featured soloist with the Grammy-winning Pacific Boychoir, including That Promised Land and Show Me the Way. He has also recently recorded commercial albums with the American Boychoir, Conflitti di Voci, and the choir of Trinity Church Wall Street.
