Christopher Gotzen-Berg
Classical Guitar
About
I studied classical guitar at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, earning a BM and MM in performance. I have performed throughout the US including performances in Mexico and Canada. My program features works that were composed on the guitar for the guitar, by composers from the 19th century to present day, as well as transcriptions and arrangements. When performing, I enjoy engaging the audience with some background and history on the composers and pieces I present, which I believe brings the listener closer to the music I present.
