Caroline M. Spaeth
Soprano
About
Lauded for her "spectacular tone," and clear, bright voice; soprano Caroline Spaeth is a versatile performer who has appeared all over New England. During the 2015-2016 season, she has been heard as a soloist with both Calliope (Fiordiligi, Cosi Fan Tutte) and The MIT Gilbert and Sullivan Players (Celia, Iolanthe in concert). In the summer of 2015, Caroline was a Vocal Apprentice at the Vermont Music and Arts Center, a festival that attracts musicians from all across the globe. During her time there, she appeared as the soprano soloist in Bach’s Magnificat and performed other significant concert and operatic works in the soprano repertoire. Other appearances include concerts at New England Conservatory and the Longy School of Music of Bard College, and recitals all over the Greater Boston area.
Caroline is also becoming increasingly in demand as a singer of sacred music and has led worship services in several parishes throughout the city. Her repertoire in this domain spans from traditional hymns and spirituals to Mozart, Fauré, and other prominent composers in the field. She holds a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Boston College.
