AARON FRIED is a North Carolina native and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Kent State University as teaching assistant to Keith Robinson of the Miami String Quartet. Aaron currently performs with Cleveland's FiveOne Ensemble. Aaron has performed chamber music with faculty from institutions such as New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, and Juilliard. Also a very passionate teacher, he taught for 4 years in programs in the Boston Public Schools and helped launch the el Sistema-inspired string program, Revolution of Hope, in the Roxbury neighborhood. An avid improviser, arranger, and composer, Aaron works periodically with Boston-based contemporary string ensemble Stringalong and Michigan theater company Parallel 45, developing arrangements and incidental music. In Boston, Aaron appeared in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum's "Rise" series, the Museum of Fine Arts' "Juneteenth" celebration, the Miss Massachusetts pageant, and the inaugural ball of Charlie Baker. Aaron is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory.
