About

Rachel Rodgers, 24, is a classical, jazz & soul flutist based in NYC. She graduated from the IU Jacobs School of Music in 2017 as a Premier Young Artist Scholar, earning a BM in Flute Performance, while also studying music entrepreneurship. In 2018, she earned her Professional Studies Certificate in Flute Performance from the Boston Conservatory. Rachel has performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, The Gibson Guitar Stage in Nashville, Dizzy's Club, Eisenhower Hall at West Point, NPR’s “From the Top," and at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She is an Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition winner, a National YoungArts recipient and was named "Young Artist of the Year" by International Women in Jazz. On the recording side, Rachel has performed and worked with Ron Carter (debut CD with national radio airplay), Rufus Reid, Hubert Laws, Jim Peterik, Wayne Wallace (Grammy-nominated album) and most recently played on John Oliver HBO.
