A continuous set of meditations, improvisations, and melodic vignettes performed on Hardanger d'amore, a sympathetic-stringed relative of the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle.

Historical context

My instrumental and compositional practice is informed by the Hardanger fiddle tradition, a folk tradition reaching back to the 1600's in Norway, as well as an approach to free improvisation guided by the practices of minimalism and deep listening.
