For at least as long as there have been words, there’s been music, and the two have had a most gloriously intertwined fate - from the Chorus of antiquity’s great plays, to the soaring heights of Mozart’s operas, to the prophetic moans of Bob Dylan's folk tunes.
Even instrumental music has a long-standing relationship with the word, and The New York Piano Society - comprised of a lot of the finest otherwise-employed pianists in this great city, has prepared an evening that explores and celebrates that intersection. And what’s more: they want to us join them at Lincoln Center for a Night Out!
It’ll be an evening of piano masterworks influenced by great literature - Schubert, Beethoven, Liszt, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, and others - performed by an array of dazzling pianistic talents.
The tickets list at $25/pop but we’ve got a stack for only $15 — a real sweet deal for a night at Lincoln Center. But our stack is limited, so grab yours now if you want to join!
And have a great Night Out!
