Ok - ONE final Asner Groupmuse for 2019. This is a very special event to raise money for our dear friend Micah Gleason. Micah is an amazingly talented mezzo soprano who has performed twice in our home at “An Evening of Spanish Canciones” as well as “The World of Art Song” events.

Right after moving from Chicago to the East Coast for grad school, she was in an accident and totaled her car. Most importantly, SHE IS OK. However, one needs a vehicle to live where she’s attending school, so the GroupMuse community is hosting a series of benefits to raise money so she can buy a new car and keep her focus on what she does best — singing!

The fabulous Aleksandar Reupert will be performing a selection of songs sure to get everyone in the mood for Christmas in Chicago. He’ll be accompanied by Valdone Arffa, both of whom are making their second appearances in the Asner living room. Aleks and Valdone are generously donating all of their proceeds to the GroupMuse Car fund for Micah Gleason.

Your host will be providing light snacks and a house cocktail, but please feel free to BYOB as well. We look forward to sharing an evening of community, cats, and Christmas cheer with you — all for a great cause!
