This season’s a big one for Ludwig Van B. Born in 1770, Beethoven turns 250 this coming year, a big number for sure — but he’s looking more visionary, energetic, and important than ever. Our City, nation, and world are commemorating this milestone with more Beethoven than you can shake a stick at. And that makes us at Groupmuse real happy because we’re awful keen on Beethoven.
And so, we’re pleased to present you an all Beethoven Night Out at Lincoln Center with Isabella Faust, truly one of the greatest violinists in the world.
Joined by equally great Alexander Melnikov on the piano, Faust has prepared three Beethoven violin sonatas, each one greater than the next - his 3 sonatas from the op. 30 collection. Some of Beethoven’s deepest and most touching moments were for violin/piano; this’ll be an evening to remember.
It’s going down in the beautiful Alice Tully Hall — and while tickets typically average almost $70, we’ve got a stack for a mere $20 - a radical discount!
But supplies are limited, so make your move!
And have a great Night Out!
