Hey everyone!
Come be a part of the first Groupmuse held at my home in Petworth! I'm going to perform at this one, playing two wonderful solo piano pieces by Chopin (Funeral March sonata Op 35 and Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brilliante Op 22) as well as works of Ravel and Liszt.
Weather permitting, we'll have drinks outside in our lovely garden before the performance, and also have a nice space for the music itself. As far as the piano is concerned, we have a 6 foot Weinbach, baby, which we'll move to the center of the house and remove the lid for maximum sound!
Hope to see you there!
What's the music?
Chopin Sonata Op 35
Chopin Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brilliante Op 22
Liszt Liebestraum
Ravel Jeux D'eau
Where does this music come from?
Tonight, I'll be performing pillars of the Romantic repertoire with a wonderful Impressionist work by Ravel.
