Host
Join composer and pianist Felix Jarrar for an evening of music entitled "Holiday Season Schubertiade-PLUS". This program is a spin-off of the 'Schubertiade', or salon concerts in the early 19th century that featured the lieder of Franz Schubert. The "Schubertiade-PLUS" elaborates upon that concept by offering programs featuring the lieder of Schubert alongside works by other composers. Soprano Maria Eleni Zollo and tenor Alonso López will perform a diverse program of music (including one or two holiday favorites) that will feature a few of Felix's compositions with text settings by Bea Goodwin, among others!
The concert will take place at 540 W 163rd St, New York, NY 10032. There is a $10 donation for this concert. It is hosted through Groupmuse!
