The Fall Harvest is upon us: Pumpkins are fattening, leaves are yellowing, and we’ve got yet another irresistibly lovely Groupmuse Night Out in the works for you! It’s the first night of Boston Baroque’s new season, and this world-class orchestra is busting out the big guns for the occasion:
The centerpieces of the program are Mozart’s sublime 36th Symphony - his “Linz Symphony” and Joseph Haydn’s 102nd symphony, his third to last and most definitely one of his greatest achievements. And as if those twin peaks of Classical expression weren’t enough, Boston Baorque is bringing through Boston’s own beloved soprano Amanda Forsythe for a handful of operatic arias by Mozart and Haydn both.
The magic is going down in the legendary and splendid Jordan Hall and while tickets typically average $80 or more, we’ve got a preposterous discount - $20 for the whole shebang! But supplies are limited so make your move:
We’ve got a stack for the Friday night date set (10/25, 8pm)
We’ve got a stack for the Sunday afternoon set (10/27, 3pm)
Have a great Night Out!
