What's the music?
Hello!
We are having a Solo Cello Concert with Russian/Italian cellist and composer Georgy Gusev
It's put together through an organization called Groupmuse, and their goal is to bring people together by matching musicians with hosts, creating classical music house parties. In their words: "everyone comes over, hangs out, make friends, listens to an hour of mind-blowing music, and goes home happy." A hat gets passed at the end, with a minimum $10 for the musicians request. It's BYOB, and bring your own ears and hearts!
Program:
- J.S.Bach: extracts from Suites for Cello Solo
- Tommy Emmanuel: Angelina for Cello Solo
- Giovanni Sollima: Lamentatio for Cello Solo
- Mark Summer: Julie-O for Cello Solo
