Join us for an evening of exceptional flute and piano pieces--and glasses raised to the joy of meeting new people.
Featured musicians are TX-based Venezuelan flutist, Maria Gabriela Alvarado, who has built a career in the US as a respected performer and pedagogue of baroque and modern flute, and pianist Ilana Cady, who performs widely and teaches throughout eastern MA.
The program will range from Philippe Gaubert to Mel Bonis, Lili Boulanger, Cecil Chaminade, and Boston-based Elena Ruehr.
Bring a treat or bottle to share (and take your Benadryl if you're allergic to dogs). We look forward to seeing you!
