Hello!
We are having a very last minute cello concert in our home in Greenpoint. Georgy Gusev will be performing at Carnegie Hall on May 30th, but he'll be warming up with us on Sunday, May 26 at 3pm. We will open our doors starting at 2, music beginning at 3.
It's put together through an organization called Groupmuse, and their goal is to bring people together by matching musicians with hosts, creating classical music house parties. In their words: "everyone comes over, hangs out, make friends, listens to an hour of mind-blowing music, and goes home happy." A hat gets passed at the end, with a minimum $10 for the musicians request. It's BYOB, and bring your own ears and hearts!
