Accomplished classical guitarist Colin Fullerton returns to the School House with a new program of "airs and omens." Here's how he describes it:
"It's an eclectic set that includes colorfully probing modern works by Toru Takemitsu and the virtuoso guitar composer Atanas Ourkouzounov, coupled with vernal old favorites by Bach and Mozart. The breadth of the guitar’s palette will be on full display in this program, with a healthy mix of humor, mysticism, and drama."
Weather permitting, the first set will be in the school garden, an enclosed area in the back of a historic school house in LES. The second set will be in my apartment with high ceilings and large windows.
This will be the last groupmuse in the School House since I'm moving to another place in LES, although I hope to host more concerts there.
