Dedra and I are delighted to have you at our house on this lovely afternoon to enjoy food, drink, socializing and great music. We will hear the mesmerizing young Russian pianist, Andrei Andreev. who has come straight from Moscow to play for us. We will hear works by Beethoven, Chopin, Scarlatti, Schubert, Purcell and others.
I first saw Andrei at a concert he gave in October of last year in Cottage Grove, Oregon. We in the audience were amazed by the performance of this unknown pianist, and felt as if the young Beethoven himself were at the keyboard. After the concert I invited Andrei to come to Palo Alto. He gave a memorable performance for us here last year.
Please enjoy his return engagement!
Seating is limited so please RSVP as soon as possible so we can have a count allowing us to get sufficient food and drink.
What's the music?
Sonatas by Beethoven no. 3, no. 8 “Pathetique “
7 sonatas by Scarlatti.
