UpClose Concerts presents our second evening of an intimate chamber music concert experience with a "Living Room Feel, Concert Hall Sound."
The first half will feature pianist Meriette Saglie performing a Brahms Piano Sonata followed by a performace of her brother, Luis Saglie's "Five Short Scenes for Piano." You are in for a treat to hear about how the great composition masters are influencing young musicians and witness the beautiful musical relationship between Meriette and her brother.
After intermission, violinist Ambroise Aubrun, with pianist Zachary Deak, will showcase two of his favorite works by the great Mozart and Debussy that were written to honor the composers' most cherished relationships. You will witness how these old pieces express emotions and stories that we still experience in today's modern world.
Doors open at 7pm and the performance will start around 7:30pm. Bring your pillows and drinks to socialize with guests and musicians before the show and at intermission.
What's the music?
Mozart, Sonata in E minor for Piano and Violin
